How to delete your data
There are two ways, and they do different things.
Through Facebook settings
In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find our app and choose "Remove".
Facebook notifies us automatically. We erase the access token, your Meta identifiers, the business identifier and the granted permissions, and revoke access to every ad account that was connected through that access. After that we are technically unable to do anything in your ad accounts.
In response, Facebook receives a URL showing that the request was carried out, and a confirmation code. That URL can be opened at any time.
By email
Write to support@variafy.com. That is enough; nothing needs to be formally drafted.
What remains, and why
Records of who approved which change remain. The service is used to authorize ad spend, and it must remain possible to establish who did so. We keep these records as an independent controller on the basis of legitimate interest — not on a customer's instructions — and this is declared in advance, not in response to a request. The retention period is stated in the privacy policy.
The connected ad account's ID and name also remain: those belong to the ad account owner, and we are not entitled to erase them at another person's request.
